THE RECKLESS UPSTARTS from Ontario, Canada, were formed in 2013 and their newest E.P. "Glory" is a co-production between Contra and Insurgence Records.
"The Reckless Upstarts playing a mix of honest, working-class street punk and anti-fascist Oi!" - that's their self-description and this is exactly what you get.
When it comes to the music, the band sometimes reminds to bands such as STREET DOGS or ONE MAN ARMY, their lyrics deal with the daily struggle of the Working Class, criticize capitalism ("Dying For A Living Wage") and hold high the original ideals of the S.H.A.R.P. movement - in a much less embarrassing way like you can hear it somewhere else these days.
