Johnny Wolga - Punk's not back CD (Digipack)

When JOHNNY WOLGA made their first announcement into the Scene with their debut single in 2010, the Punkrock Veterans and Magazines gave them best props and good reviews. And now we are happy to tell you that they've conserved their fresh attitude to a full lenght record! 

Ok, they still have to face the fact that people are comparing them with THE TOY DOLLS, but who cares? The funny and cynical lyrics are a trademark of JOHNNY WOLGA as well as the TOY DOLLS. In "Punk's not back" they sound a bit like a faster version of the very pop-a-like and catchy last outputs by bands such as PERKELE or COCK SPARRER. 

Other bands which easily come to mind when you're listening to JOHNNY WOLGA are SLOPPY SECONDS, THE DICKIES or THE BUZZCOCKS. Again they recorded the songs at the studio from Smail (SHOCKS), just to name another great band which had an influence on the sound of JOHNNY WOLGA. The band itself describes their music as "Retarded Punk from Dad's Garage". 'nuff said?
