Their "Bast the Stereo" album of 2014 got some great reviews worldwide, so the bands didn't change too much: Melodic and aggressive streetpunk, which still reminds of the two great records Lars Frederiksen did with the BASTARDS a few years ago.
Everyone who is into bands such as THE FORGOTTEN, OXYMORON or THE VIRUS should definitely check TOPNOVIL.
The cover of the un-official Australian national anthem "Nice Boys" (originally by ROSE TATTOO) made ANGRY ANDERSON to a fan of the band. And this man has a good taste, unquestionably.

Fünf neue Punkrock Cruise Missiles der australischen Nietenkaiser. Nach dem allerorts gut angenommenen "Blast The Stereo" Album aus dem letzten Jahr und der starken Tour im Frühjahr mit LION'S LAW hat man nicht viel verändert:
Aggressiver, melodischer Streetpunk, der nach wie vor schwer an die beiden genialen Alben von LARS FREDERIKSEN & THE BASTARDS erinnert und bei allen Fans von Bands wie THE FORGOTTEN, OXYMORON oder THE VIRUS die Tür eintritt.
Energiegeladen und schnell, dennoch mit einem geschmeidigen Händchen für eine gute Melodie, eben ganz wie bei den gerade genannten Bands.
Mit "Nice Boys" hat man dann gleich mal noch die inoffizielle australische Nationalhymne von ROSE TATTOO gecovert, dem Vernehmen nach ist ANGRY ANDERSON seitdem bekennender TOPNOVIL Fan.
