I first heard about this band at new year’s eve. I remember watching “Queen City Eve” video at least ten times in a row and singing the chorus all night long. I couldn’t wait to get the record and listen to it.
Eight months later, I can easily say that this is one of my favorite 2012 albums. Brass City Sounds did one hell of a job putting this record out. Twelve “melodic Oi!” anthems that you can sing along to, plus four acoustic versions of already recorded songs. My favorites are “Queen City Eve”, “Tale of a fat fucking retard” and “Our city”.
This album is the perfect soundtrack for a night with friends and beer. Give it a chance, and it won’t disappoint you. I hope Yellow Stitches put out new recordings soon.
